Early Dismissal for PreK-8 Students in Malden

Here are five things to know for Wednesday, Jan. 8 in Malden:

1. Prekindergarten through eighth grade students at Malden Public Schools will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, as they will be released at 12:30 p.m., according to the public schools' calendar.

2. The Beebe School Council meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the school, according to the Malden Public Schools website.

3. Board Game Night gets underway at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and runs until 8:30 p.m. at Malden Public Library in the Program Room, according to the library's events calendar.

4. Malden Public Library will be hosting an ESL Conversation program from 1-2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Program Room, according to the library's events calendar.
