MALDEN, MA — July 4 is quickly approaching, which means it's time to find out what Fourth of July events are going on near you this Independence Day. While Malden did not have Fourth of July fireworks scheduled, the regular nearby shows have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

There is one local event to watch: Although the Boston July 4 Fireworks show was canceled, the iconic Boston Pops will still hold a musical performance online.
