Everett Police Share Photos Of Suspected Church Vandal

Police are seeking the identity of a man in connection with several incidents of vandalism, including one at the Zion Baptist Ministries.

EVERETT, MA — Police in Everett are attempting to identify a man in connection with several incidents of vandalism, including one at the Zion Baptist Ministries last Thursday.

Police said they were investigating the church vandalism as a hate crime.

"This was not an accident but a hate crime against Zion Ministries and their community," Everett Mayor Carlo DeMaria wrote on Facebook. "As Mayor, I'm repulsed and distraught that someone would intentionally vandalize a religious organization in our community. There is absolutely no room for any hate in Everett."
