Freeze On LimeBikes In Malden This Winter
The company is taking its bikes off the road due to low ridership during cold weather months.

MALDEN, MA — Lime riders will have to find another means of travel this winter. Although the company operated in Malden throughout most of the 2018-19 winter, it's removing its bikes from the road this season.
Lime found there was low ridership in all bike share communities during the colder months, coupled with operational challenges during storms. The company started removing bicycles from the road Friday, Nov. 15 and plans to have them completely gone by Nov. 30.
If the region gets hit by a significant snowfall prior to Nov. 30, that end date may be moved up.
