Help Pay Malden Dog's Medical Expenses
Each Thursday during the holiday season, we'll be highlighting a GoFundMe campaign in the Malden area.
A GoFundMe account has been created for a Malden dog that was injured while playing with another dog.
"Please help me. I was play fighting with my brother and next thing I knew my eye ball popped out!" reads a post on the GoFundMe account for Kaylee the chihuahua. "I am at the pet ER right now having surgery to get it back in. They don't know if I will be able to see out of that eye again but I have hope.
"Please help my mom and dad pay for my hospital stay."
According to the account, Kaylee underwent eye surgery but there is no indication as to whether the dog will be able to regain vision in the injured eye.
As of Thursday, $390 of the $600 fundraising goal had been met, according to the account.
