Heroin Sting in Stop & Shop Parking Lot Yields Two Arrests

Malden Police said they made three heroin distribution arrests this week, two of which were after a sting at the Charles Street grocery store Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the arrest of an accused drug dealer that skipped bail last month resulted in further arrests this week, culminating in a successful undercover sting operation in the Charles Street Stop & Shop parking lot Tuesday.

David Bryan, 50, homeless, was arrested after a joint investigation by Revere and Malden detectives, Malden Police Lt. Det. Marc Gatcomb said.

Bryan was arrested on his outstanding warrant, as well as alleged class C drug possession and trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium charges. He was held without bail Tuesday.
