How Much Snow Did Malden Get?
Much of Massachusetts was met with a few inches of snow Wednesday morning as temperatures dipped overnight.
MALDEN, MA — Temperatures dropped in Massachusetts Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, turning the wet start to the week into a snowy midweek commute. It wasn't enough to warrant canceling school in many communities, including Malden, but much of the state saw about 3-4 inches of snow.
According to the National Weather Service, Malden got 2.8 inches of snow. It was toward the low end of the spectrum in Middlesex County, with Framingham seeing 4.5 inches. Nearby communities like Boston and Winthrop reported 2-2.5 inches.
The highest totals in the state came farther west in Hampden County, with Brimfield getting 6 inches.
