Johnny Cupcakes Raises Money for Soccer Nights In Malden

An exclusive Malden T-shirt was unveiled for the occasion as Johnny Earle shared his story of starting more than 16 businesses before 16

MALDEN, MA - Johnny Earle, founder of Johnny Cupcakes “The World’s First T-Shirt Bakery” recently attended a fundraiser in Malden in support of Soccer Nights Malden, a release said.

An exclusive Malden T-shirt was unveiled for the occasion as Johnny Earle shared his incredible story of starting more than 16 businesses before turning 16 years old and how he turned a “joke” into a multi-million dollar brand, a release said.

Mayor Gary Christenson was the first to put his order in. A limited edition of the City of Malden T-shirt will be available for pre-order until July 1, a release said. All proceeds will benefit Soccer Nights Malden, a release said. Local businesses Boda Borg Boston, Cha Shu Coffee & Bubble Tea, and Mystic Station all participated in the event as well, a release said.

Soccer Nights provides a week-long free camp program for kids in an effort to bring communities together around the joy of soccer, a release said. This year’s Soccer Nights camp will be held at Macdonald Stadium August 1-5 from 6-8:30 PM for children ages 6-12, a release said. Participants will receive soccer instruction from highly qualified volunteer coaching staff, a release said.
