Kitten Found In Box Along Busy Malden Street
Police want to know who left the 2-month-old kitten in a box - with just holes punched into the side - during a hot, humid day this week.

MALDEN, MA — Police are looking to identify who left a 2-month-old kitten along a busy Malden street Wednesday afternoon.
The kitten, who was found unharmed despite being left in sweltering heat, appeared to be in good health, police said. The box the kitten was in had holes punched into the side, but the top was taped shut.
Malden police are working with the Animal Rescue League of Boston to identify who is responsible.

"This is a clear case of animal cruelty and abandonment," police said. "The fact that holes were cut into the box shows that this kitten was left on the side of the road intentionally."
