MALDEN, MA — Mayor Gary Christenson has launched a new program to assist Malden businesses in recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. The online program, entitled "Reimagining Retail Following COVID-19," is designed to teach businesses best practices to building a resilient business while ensuring safety for their customers.

From enhanced safety cleaning protocols and accepting contactless payments, to the best ways to attract and retain customers, the seminar will focus on several areas that will make a difference to consumers in 2021 and beyond. The three-part series will take place April 27, May 4 and May 11 from 8-10 a.m. via Zoom.

The city has retained the services of Matt Urban Marketing, a local digital marketing company with expertise in improving the customer experience, using a grant from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
