Since the Boston Red Sox claimed their third World Series title in a decade following Wednesday night's 6-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 6, Malden businesses, organizations and politicians have taken to social media to celebrate the team's achievements.

Dr. Patricia Wu, DMD, PC wrote "They WON!!!!!!!"

U.S. Senator Edward J. Markey posted this message: "Congrats to the Boston Red Sox on bringing a World Series title back to Boston! Thank you for lifting our spirits & giving us this amazing celebration. #BostonStrong"

Linden S.T.E.A.M. Academy PTO wrote "(On Friday) we are celebrating the the World CHAMPION Red Sox at LSA. This is a NUT (no uniform today) Day. Children are asked to bring in $1 or 10 box tops to participate!"
