Malden Cop Wins Historic Recognition
A Malden police officer received a historic commendation from the Coast Guard this week.
MALDEN, MA - A Malden police officer received a historic commendation from the Coast Guard this week.
George Lopez received the commitment to excellence award from Admiral Paul Zukunet of the US Coast Guard. Lopez is the first non-military civilian to receive the commandant Admiral's Challenge coin in history, Malden police said on social media.
