Malden Fire Station to Host Open House on Wednesday

Here are five things to know for Wednesday, Oct. 9 in Malden:

1. Malden Fire Station 3, 332 Pleasant St., will be hosting an open house from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.

2. From 3–6 p.m. on Wednesday, customers ordering a Domino's pizza may be randomly selected and met at the door when their pizza arrives in a fire engine, according to a press statement. If all smoke detectors are functioning properly, the pizza is free, and if a smoke alarm is not working firefighters will replace the batteries and make sure it is fully functional, the statement adds.

3. The Malden Planning Board meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the City Council Chamber at Malden Government Center, according to the city website.

4. It is expected to be partly sunny, with temperatures peaking in the low 60s before dipping to an overnight low in the mid-40s.

5. Board game night for adults runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Malden Public Library, according to the library website.
