Malden Mayor In 'East-West' Dialogue With Chinese Cultural Group

MALDEN, MA - Mayor Gary Christenson will team up with the Chinese Culture Connection for an “East Meets West” event that will focus on the Importance of Civil Engagement on Monday, July 25 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Senior Center, 7 Washington Street.

Mayor Christenson will be joined by Chinese Culture Connection President Mei Hung and Investment Specialist Joe Chow to offer ways in which residents can become more involved in their community, learn more about the City’s policies and services and get a better understanding of how city government operates, a release said. The free event is open to the public and light refreshments will be provided, a release said. “East Meets West Cultural Dialogue” series is funded by the Adelaide Breed Bayrd Foundation, a release said.
