Malden Planning Memorial To Local Lives Lost To COVID-19
The city is seeking public input on the memorial, which is planned for either Forestdale Cemetery or the Malden River.
MALDEN, MA — The city is planning a memorial in remembrance of the local lives lost to COVID-19. It will also recognize the community members who stepped up during the crisis, from health care workers, to first responders and beyond.
The City Council's Community Engagement and Public Properties Committees are inviting public input on the proposed memorial locations through this survey. The two locations under consideration are the Forestdale Cemetery and the Malden River.
The deadline to complete the survey is 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 15.
