Malden Planning Outdoor Movie Night

MALDEN, MA — Malden will host an outdoor movie night at Trafton Park Aug. 1. The movie will be "The Sandlot," starting at 8:30 p.m.

There will be a 100-person limit on the baseball field inside the fence, per Board of Health guidelines. Attendees will be required to wear a mask when entering and moving about the baseball field and are asked to respect six-foot social distancing guidelines.

Those outside of the park and baseball field are also asked to follow CDC and public health guidelines.

Attendees should bring their own blanket, chairs and chips and clean up afterward. No food will be served.

The event is sponsored by Mayor Gary Christenson, Rep. Steven Ultrino, Dave and Jenna Camell, Maria Glionna, the Columbia Container Service and Maplewood Association.
