Malden Public Library to Host Teen Holiday Party

Here are five things to know for Thursday, Dec. 19 in Malden:

1. Malden Public Library will be hosting a Teen Holiday Party from 2:30-5 p.m. Thursday, according to the library website. Video games, wintry crafts, board games and snacks will be available for students in grades 5-12, the site adds.

2. In case you missed it, Sparks Department Store in Malden will be closing after 94 years in business.

3. A Creative Writing group meets from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Program Room at Malden Public Library, according to the events calendar on the library website.

4. Thursday will be Polar Express Day for students in K-4 at the Forestdale Schools, according to the Malden Public Schools website.

5. First grade students at the Beebe Elementary School will be having their Winter Holiday Program at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, according to the Malden Public Schools website.
