Malden To Reopen Application Process For Pot Shops
The city's Cannabis Licensing and Enforcement Commission will start accepting applications for marijuana businesses in January.
MALDEN, MA — The city's Cannabis Licensing and Enforcement Commission will soon accept applications for marijuana businesses in Malden. The application process will start Monday, Jan. 11 and continue until Feb. 9. Applications received during that period will be considered at the CLEC's next scheduled meeting.
Applications may be submitted after Feb. 9, and the CLEC will continue its review next year under the city's Cannabis Ordinance.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the CLEC's website at www.cityofmalden.org/cannabis for an overview of the application process and other important materials.
