Malden Rock City? Local Acts Win Big at the New England Music Awards

Not since the heyday of Extreme has Malden been so thoroughly rocked: 

Local acts Adam Ezra Group and Air Traffic Controller took home top prizes at the New England Music Awards this weekend, beating out other well-knowns like Dispatch and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals in an online vote. 

Adam Ezra Group won "Band of the Year" while Air Traffic Controller received "Album of the Year" for their 2012 release Nordo. 

Music from that album has been featured on MTV's "The Real World." You can check out the video here.
