Malden Seeks Volunteers To Prepare For Memorial Day
Residents are invited to help place American flags on veterans' graves at local cemeteries.
MALDEN, MA — Mayor Gary Christenson and Director of Veterans Services Kevin Jarvis invites residents, veterans, students and civic organizations to help place American flags on veterans' graves ahead of Memorial Day on Monday, May 31.
Flag placement will happen during the weeks of May 17-21 and May 24-28.
Volunteers should call the Veterans Services Department at 781-397-7139 to provide dates and times they are available.
