Malden Senior Center to Host U.S. Citizenship Swearing-in Ceremony

1. There will be an U.S. citizenship swearing-in ceremony from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Malden Senior Community Center.

2. Malden Public Library will host their Preschool Story Time program from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the library website.

3. Here is a look at the schedule of activities planned for Thursday at the Malden Senior Community Center, according to the senior center's October newsletter:

8:30 a.m.: Computer Classes
9 a.m.: Chinese Outreach 
9 a.m.: ESL Classes 
9:30 p.m.: Reflexology 
9:30 a.m.: Computer Classes 
9:30 a.m.: Gentle Mat Yoga 
9:30 a.m.: Reflexology 
11 a.m.: Gentle Chair Yoga 
12 p.m.: Haitian Outreach/ESL 
12:30 p.m.: Blood Pressure 
1 p.m.: Bingo 
1:30 p.m.: Sit, Stand, Walk to Music 
2:45 p.m.: Line Dancing 
3 p.m.: Drawing-Basket full of Fall 

4. Zumba and yoga classes will kick off at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Ferryway School, according to an event posting on Malden Patch. First class is a free trial, or $9 for drop-ins, according to the posting. 

5. It is expected to be sunny on Thursday, with temperatures peaking in the mid-50s and overnight lows in the mid-30s.
