Man Faces Armed Robbery Charges After Alleged ATM Attack

A man who allegedly robbed a woman at a Century Bank ATM last weekend was apprehended in part to the assistance of witnesses, police said this week. 

Luis Ricardo, 29, of Everett, allegedly attacked a woman at the Ferry Street branch of the bank. The victim called for help, and police were led in the direction of the fleeing suspect by passersby. 

She was unhurt in the robbery. 

Police said they secured a quick perimeter around the area, and discovered Ricardo on Holyoke Street.

He was reportedly identified with video surveillance of the attack.
