
Thomas O'Brien, a Mass General Hospital Police Officer, received a citation from Mayor Gary Christenson for his support in the recent arrest of an armed robbery suspect.
O'Brien responded to the scene of a potential armed robbery and assisted in the arrest of a suspect who is believed to have committed two gunpoint robberies at Malden and Medford ATM machines.
Bank of America award O'Brien with $1,000 for his efforts, which he donated to Malden's Housing Families.
