MBTA To Upgrade Malden's Oak Grove Station
Planned upgrades include new elevators, improved accessibility and increased energy efficiency.

MALDEN, MA — The MBTA is planning upgrades to its Oak Grove Orange Line stop in Malden. The Oak Grove Station Improvements Project includes new elevators and improved elevator visibility; increased energy efficiency; improved station accessibility, signs and customer experience; and additional upgrades to comply with current codes.
The agency will hold its second public meeting on the project Monday, No. 25 in the Malden Senior Center Auditorium and Atrium, 7 Washington St. An open house will take place at 6:30 p.m., followed by a presentation at 7 p.m.
The project team will present a summary of the goals and scope of the work and construction schedule. There will also be time for questions from residents.
