Monday Essentials: Learn to Make Jewelry, Poetry Reading & More

1. Jewelry craft night for adults: Learn to make a piece of jewelry and take it home with you at 7 p.m. Monday night at Malden Public Library. 

2. Poetry reading: If you're a lover of poetry, this night at Malden Library is for you: participants can either share their poetry or listen to others at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Malden Public Library.  

3. Music appreciation night: This is the first in a series of "music appreciation" events at the Malden Public Library this year - Dr. Chi-Sun Chan will give a lecture and presentation on various kinds of Chinese musical instruments.

4. The...Lizard of Oz?: The Malden Public Library will host an "interactive play" with dramatic duo "Max and Suzy," as they perform a mash-up of Wizard of Oz with new lizard themes at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
