Nearly $19K Raised For Family Of Slain Malden Teen

Jaden Britto-White, a "loving, caring, remarkable child," was fatally shot outside his apartment on Bowdoin Street last Tuesday.

MALDEN, MA — The community is rallying around the family of an 18-year-old boy who was fatally shot on Bowdoin Street last Tuesday. Jaden Britto-White was standing outside his apartment building when two men came up and shot him, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said.

A fundraiser for Britto-White's mother has raised nearly $19,000 in just three days.

"As we all know Jaden was a loving, caring, remarkable child who didn't deserve any of this," the organizer, Dawn Schoville, wrote. Donations will go toward funeral arrangements and additional expenses. Click here to donate.
