Obituary: Joseph Santoro, 67, Formerly Of Malden

MALDEN, MA — The following obituary was submitted by Lori Deschene.

Joseph S. Santoro of Andover, formerly of Malden, died peacefully on September 18th, 2020, at age 67 after a brief illness.

Devoted companion of Susan LaGrasse of Andover. Beloved brother of Marianne Deschene and her husband Kevin of Revere and Barbara Ringdahl and her husband Glenn of Malden. Predeceased by his parents, Henry Joseph Santoro and Jeanne (Bonomo) Santoro of Malden and his late brother John Santoro.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his cherished cat, Felix. Joe grew up in Malden, and as a youth he played many of the sports offered by the city. At the time of his involvement in city baseball, Joe held the record for the most home runs. Funeral arrangements will be private.
