Obituary: Richard H. Chanonhouse, 53, of Malden

“Richard H. Chanonhouse, Jr., a lifelong resident of Malden, died at his home on April 28, 2015. He was 53 years of age.
Richard was born in Stoneham, MA on December 6, 1961 the son of Richard H. Chanonhouse and Esther M. (Slauenwhite) Chanonhouse. Richard was a graduate of Malden High School class of 1961.

“He was employed as a Bus Driver for the MBTA where he has worked for the past 23 years. He was an avid gardener with his own vegetable garden. He enjoyed traveling, kayaking and camping especially at Moosehead Lake in Maine.

“Richard was the fiancé of Liz Correia of Malden. Father of Amanda Chanonhouse of N.H. and the late Richard H. Chanonhouse III. Brother of Cynthia Martin and her husband Kenneth of Salem NH and Grandfather of Sean Donahue, Jr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“A funeral service will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd. (corner of Pleasant St.) WOBURN on Saturday, May 2 at 4:00 pm. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-4pm. Burial is private. I lieu of flowers may be made to the VNA Hospice Care G-500 Woburn, MA 01801.“
