Obituary: Ruggiero "Roger" Gelsomini, 59, Devoted Husband For 35 Years

Ruggiero “Roger” Gelsomini passed away on July 22, 2015. He was 59 years old. Roger was a resident of Saugus for the past 9 years and formerly of Malden. Roger worked for Alteriso Construction in Burlington, Local 22 Laborers, and a waiter at Ristorante Saraceno in Boston’s North End for many years. Roger loved his work and his dog “Louie”.

Roger was the devoted husband of 35 years to Leanne (Dawson) Gelsomini. He was the loving son of Rosa (Ricci) of Italy and the late Biagio Gelsomini. Roger was the beloved father of Gina Arwine and her husband David, Ruggiero “Roger” Jr. Gelsomini, Tia Gelsomini and Angelo Gelsomini all of Saugus. He was the brother of Camillo Gelsomini of Everett and Enrica and Annarita Gelsomini of Italy. Roger was the cherished grandfather of Kylie and Mya Arwine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Louie.
