Patriots Running Back Dion Lewis Runs Football Camp in Malden

MALDEN, MA - New England Patriots Running Back Dion Lewis teamed up with North Shore Flag Football to hold a one-day camp last week in Malden. Mayor Gary Christenson joined Recreation Coordinator Joe Levine and hundreds of youth for the four hour program at Macdonald Stadium, a release said. After a speech by Patriots Star Dion Lewis, players were divided into groups and were put through drills such as throwing, receiving and running, a release said.

North Shore Flag Football is a non-profit organization that runs the NFL Flag Play 60 program in Massachusetts for boys and girls aged 4-16 years old, a release said. The league is catered to players of all abilities and the goal is for boys and girls to have fun while learning football basics, along with team work and sportsmanship, a release said.
