Pet Retailer Opens In Malden

MALDEN, MA — A small business catering to local pet owners recently held a grand opening ceremony on Main Street. Paws & Purrfection, which opened in August, offers pet supplies, local delivery, pet waste removal services and novelty and custom items tailored to pet owners and their fur babies.

The business is operated by Kashawna Harland and Ralph Long III, who wanted to provide a place that ensures the needs of area pets were met, even in the face of a pandemic. In addition to providing pet essentials and delivery services, the shop aims to help the Malden community.

In the coming months, Paws & Purrfection plans to hold food donation drives, fundraisers, pet education events and more.
