PHOTOS: Malden Students Plant Urban Garden

MALDEN, MA - Malden students planted an urban garden along the bike path at Salemwood School last week and will maintain it all summer.

Mayor Gary Christenson congratulated the students on their hard work to improve and beautify the area. The efforts were sponsored by Ward 5 Councillor Barbara Murphy, Malden Department of Public Works, and Malden's Trash Hauler JRM, according to a release. The children will work to maintain the garden over the summer.
