POLICE: Malden Man Hits Cruiser, Arrested for Fourth OUI

Malden Police said they made a quick arrest Monday night after witnesses helped them find a vehicle that hit an unmarked police cruiser outside their station. 

Lt. Det. Marc Gatcomb said officers discovered the car about 100 yards away, "resting on the sidewalk." 

There were no injuries in the accident. 

After an investigation, police arrested Anthony Panek, 52, of Malden, for allegedly operating under the influence of alcohol (fouth offense), leaving the scene of an accident and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
