Replica of Vietnam War Memorial Visits Malden This Weekend

The 'Moving Wall' is a half-sized replica of the Washington, DC monument. Malden will host the structure from June 7-9.

18 Maldonians who lost their lives in the Vietnam War will be among those honored this weekend as the "Moving Wall" Vietnam Memorial makes its way to the city.

Malden will host the structure, a half-scale replica of the original Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC, from June 7-9 at Forest Dale Cemetery. 

Only two Massachusetts communities will host the memorial this year, thanks to a request submitted by Councillor Jim Nestor.
