REPORT: Shooting Victim Succumbs to Injuries

Shawn Clark, 36, of Saugus, was reported dead at Melrose-Wakefield hospital.

A man who sustained numerous gunshot wounds during a robbery near 800 Main St. this afternoon has succumb to his injuries.

The article quotes a State Police spokesman who confirmed Shawn Clark, 36, of Saugus was pronounced dead at Melrose-Wakefield Memorial Hospital.

As many as 5-8 gunshots were reported by witnesses, who said the vicitm was later seen laying in Main St., bleeding from the stomach.
