Triangle, Inc. Opens Training Center In Malden

Founded by small business owners in Malden, Medford and Everett, Triangle strives to find job opportunities for people with disabilities.

MALDEN, MA — Triangle, Inc. recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new office at 157 Pleasant St. The location will serve as Triangle's hub for individual job seekers and referrals from the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission and the Department of Transitional Assistance, along with a new training center for job seekers in the region.

The new location is accessible by public transportation and is just a three-minute walk from the MBTA Orange Line station. The location is currently set up with proper social distancing measures.

The Pleasant Street site will serve more than 500 people each year as Triangle continues to offer more opportunities to adults and youth. It will also serve as the primary home to their career pathways programs that provide comprehensive employment readiness and specialty training for opportunities in growth industries such as health care, environmental services and the culinary arts. At full capacity there will be 10 full-time employees at the location.

Triangle, Inc. was founded by small business owners in Malden, Medford and Everett who were committed to providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Triangle's founders demonstrated that with the proper supports and training, people with disabilities could live, work and thrive in their local communities.

The organization operates five facilities that provide a variety of programs, including three in Malden (Pearl St., Main St., and Pleasant St.), a program and site and test center in Salem, and a program site in Randolph.
