Voters to Participate in Preliminary Election in Malden on Tuesday

Here is a sampling of five things happening on Tuesday, Sept. 17 in Malden:

1. Election day: Residents of Wards 1, 3 and 8 will be voting during the city's preliminary election on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The preliminary election helps to narrow the field for each race to two candidates. 

2. Healthy eats:
 The Malden Farmers Market is scheduled for 3-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17 at City Hall Plaza, 200 Pleasant St., according to the Malden Chamber of Commerce website.

3. Library program: Here is a look at the program slated for Tuesday at Malden Public Library, according to the library website:

  • 10:30-11:15 a.m.: Song & Rhyme Time, Children's Room
