Coyote Season is Coming - Are you Prepared?
Animal Control Officer Kevin Alkins will host a forum on 'wildlife and coyotes' Thursday.

Spring critters, that is. Malden's animal control officer will be joined by guest speakers from Mass Wildlife during a forum on "Wildlife and Coyotes" this week.Â
The discussion starts at 7 p.m. Thursday night at Malden City Hall, and all residents with concerns about urban wildlife are encouraged to attend, Officer Kevin Alkins said.Â

"Coming into the spring and summer seasons, these animals will be very visible and we need to educate the public on any possible conflicts," he wrote.
Alkins decided to organize the forum after the city dealt with a roaming coyote near some elementary schools last year.Â
