Want to Throw a Block Party?
This season, city hall is encouraging residents to meet their neighbors with this summer tradition - here's how to get permission to close down your street.

When was the last time you shared a meal with a neighbor down the block?Â
The city is encouraging residents to organize block parties this summer in an effort at fostering neighborliness and a sense of community in the city.Â
If you're interested, organizers can print out a copy of the application and turn it into the DPW's Commercial Street offices at least 14 days prior to the event.Â
