Wednesday is Board Game Night for Adults at Malden Public Library

1. Library programs: A pair of activities are scheduled for Wednesday at Malden Public Library, according to the library website, including:
- ESL conversation, 1-2:30 p.m., Program Room
- Board game night for adults, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Program Room
2. Girl Scout sign-ups: There will be a Malden Girl Scout sign-up session from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Oak Grove Community Building, according to an event posting on Malden Patch.
3. Public hearings afoot: The Malden Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Herbert L. Jackson Council Chamber at Malden Government Center, according to the city website. There will be a handful of public hearings to begin the session.
4. Help a cat: Tally, an injured cat needing a leg amputation on Wednesday, needs at least another $450 to help cover the cost of her surgery. Find out more information here.
