Wellbeing Check Drew Police, Fire Presence In Malden

Police said the owners of a home on Clifton Street had not been seen recently.

MALDEN, MA — Emergency crews responded to a home on Clifton Street for a wellbeing check Wednesday, police said.

Malden and state police, the Malden Fire Department and Cataldo Ambulance were called to the residence. The homeowners had not been seen lately, mail had accumulated and their vehicle had not been moved for an extended period, police said.

First responders checked the home and did not find anyone inside. Clifton Street was reopened Wednesday afternoon.
