What's In Store For 2015 Flag Day In Malden?
A dedication for the Nathaniel C. Wright Memorial Square will unfold before the marching band concert.

The City of Malden has some big plans for June 14, otherwise known as Flag Day.
First up, there will be a dedication for the Nathaniel C. Wright Memorial Square at 3 p.m. on the corner of Squrce and Salem Streets.
Wright was a lifelong Malden resident and celebrated World War II veteran, who died in 2014 at the age of 95. More information on Wright and the event can be found in the city’s blog post here.

Next at 4:30 p.m., Malden’s annual Flag Day celebration will unfold at Bell Rock Memorial Park on Main Street. Performances are slated to include jams from the Malden High School Choral Arts Society, the Malden High School Band, and the Salvation Army Drum Corps.
