Woman Allegedly Doused Apartment in Gasoline During Domestic Dispute

Sue Jewel Faragi-Snow, 45, of Malden, faces numerous charges, including assault to murder.

A Malden man had a terrible surprise waiting for him when he came home after a fight with his girlfriend, police said.

Sue Jewel Faragi-Snow, 45, of Malden, allegedly barred the male victim from re-entering their home after a late night fight earlier this month.

When he returned the following morning, Faragi-Snow allegedly doused him and parts of the apartment in gasoline, broke several appliances, punched a mirror, spray-painted the walls and even ripped the seat off of their toilet.

Faragi-Snow allegedly threatened the victim with a cigarette, saying she would "kill him and burn the building down," Lt. Det. Marc Gatcomb said.

The victim was also reportedly assaulted with shards of glass and a leg broken from a kitchen chair.

Gatcomb said responding officers reported a "tremendous amount of damage" to the apartment.

Faragi-Snow was arrested for alleged assault to murder, attempt to burn a building, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, vandalize with a noxious or filthy substance and malicious destruction of property over $250.
