MJWC Milton Community Grants Application Available Now

MILTON MA//December 12, 2017 – The Milton Junior Woman’s Club (“MJWC”) application for its 2018 Community Grants is available now. Any tax-exempt organization that assists Milton residents or enriches the community is invited to complete a grant application and submit it to MJWC by February 16, 2018.

The club will review all applications at its March business meeting and grants will be awarded to organizations by the beginning of April. Grant amounts typically vary from $250-$2,000. We ask that our award recipients recognize our donation and sponsorship by prominently displaying our logo in signage, brochures or related materials.

To obtain an application for a MJWC Community Grant, please visit the website at www.miltonjuniorwomansclub.com. Applications can be downloaded from the website and submitted to the club via email at info@miltonjuniorwomansclub.com, or by mail to MJWC, P.O. Box 474, Milton, MA 02186.

The MJWC is a philanthropic organization with a long history of providing funding to non-profit organizations and charities that benefit Milton residents. Funds for community grants come from proceeds of the annual Milton Road Race, a fun family event sponsored, organized and staffed by the volunteer members of the MJWC.

In the past several years, grant recipients have included: Collicot PTO, Milton Council on Aging, Norfolk Advocates for Children, Boston Playwrights Theatre at BU for Milton Reflecting, Friends of the Blue Hills, Milton Community Food Pantry, Friends of the Milton Public Library, Milton Early Childhood Alliance, Caron Treatment Centers, Milton Art Center, and Milton Parks and Recreation Department.
