Milton Man Identified As Victim In Boston Homicide
Joshua Smith, 29, of Milton, has been identified as the man who was shot and run over by a car in Roxbury over the holiday weekend.
MILTON, MA — The Boston Police Department has identified the man who was shot and then run over by a car after some 4th of July celebrations early Monday morning.
Joshua Smith, 29, of Milton, was pronounced dead at the scene of Seaver Street and Humboldt Avenue in Roxbury after a Boston police officer responded to hearing gunshots on a patrol.
A report from Live Boston claims that the man was still pinned under the car when police arrived and that there was an unruly crowd around a long trail of blood behind the vehicle as the officer tried to help the victim.
