456 Days Later, Pit Bull at Milton Animal Shelter Has a Home
Hubert, the famous pit bull at the Milton Animal League has found a home.

It’s been 456 days since Hubert was taken to the Milton Animal Rescue after being found wondering the streets of Milton. Now, the pit bull terrier has found a home according to the Home for Hubert Facebook page.
Monday afternoon, the page began posting photos of Hubert around a home and backyard before making the official announcement that he had been adopted.

The adoption comes on the heels of a recent announcement that Hubert was away on a 10-day trial.
On Monday afternoon, the apparent new owner of Hubert, Jon Tanes, posted a message on the Milton Animal League’s Facebook page, thanking everyone for the presents Hubert received.

“He is one happy boy! Also to all the people who helped in any way to give animals a permanent home, Hubert says much appreciated!” Tanes’ message went on to say.
With Hubert’s new home comes the end of a massive effort to find Hubert a home. The dog became somewhat of an Internet celebrity during his stay with stories in publications such as the Huffington Post and the Boston Globe and a Facebook page.
At the time of his adoption, A Home for Hubert had nearly 3,400 likes.
