Ahead Of East Milton Square Bridge Construction, Sidewalk Work
Work will begin on Monday, March 29, and will continue through April 2021 on sidewalks near the East Milton Square bridge spot.

MILTON, MA — The good news: The sidewalks around town are about to get a makeover. The bad news: Sidewalks will be closed for a while.
Beginning Monday, Massachusetts Department of Transportation crews will begin demolition and reconstruction to sidewalks and curbs from Adams Street through to Boulevard Street.
The work is scheduled to last through April.

The sidewalk and curb work are part of the construction for the East Milton Square bridge deck project.
The work will begin on the Adams Street south sidewalk west of Bryant Avenue and will then move south to the southwest corner of Bryant Avenue and Boulevard Street. The sidewalks will be closed for the duration of the work.

MassDOT said it will post signs about pedestrian detours allowing for ADA-compliant pedestrian access to the Post Office and other businesses.
