The Color Purple in Full Splendor in Memory of Beloved Teacher

Caitlin's Run /Walk for the Arts.

The Sunday morning Fall air was crisp as runners and walkers came out in the hundreds in support of this great cause.

A great BIG Thank You to former Milton teacher Valerie Kelly and beloved parents Louanne and Skip Clavette who organized the race. Milton super runner Justin Renz, (14 times Boston Marathon runner,) easily breezed across the finish line in 1st place. In addition to the race, many sponsors provided a vast array of raffle items. A beaming Maggie won a basket of Art supplies. Milton resident Fred Kelly took time away from his job at Bright View in Canton, serving as Master of Ceremonies.

Senator Timilty always a great supporter of the schools and all things Milton, remarked as he crossed the finish line, "I hope this becomes an annual event." I am sure all in attendance echo that sentiment.
