Five Milton Wildcats Named All-Scholastics, Track Coach Named D3 Coach of the Year
The members of the track team were recognized by the Boston Globe.

Milton, MA – Five members of the Milton track and field team and the girls' coach have been recognized for their stellar season.
Freshman Smith Charles; the girls' 4x400 relay team of Alexis Belash, Josie Cousineau, Colette O’ Leary, and Elise O’ Leary; and coach Thomas Shaw were all part of the Boston Globe All-Scholastic team. Shaw was named the Division 3 Coach of the Year.
Charles, a freshman, won the State Coaches Invitational, Division 3, and All-State titles in the 100. He was also part of the Division 3 champion 4x100 relay team.

The girls' 4x400 team won the All-State title. Belash and the O'Leary sisters were also part of the New England champion 4x800 team.
For Shaw, the award is his second of the year, previously winning the Cross Country Coach of the Year award. This spring, the Wildcats finished second at the Division 3 relay meeting, first at the Division 3 championship, and tied for the All-State title.
