Forecast Update: How Much Snow is Coming to Milton?
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Warning.

MILTON, MA - Winter Storm Jonas should be arriving in the area Saturday, bringing a few inches of snow along the way.
Due to the weather, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Warning for Milton. According to the NWS, a Winter Weather Advisory is issued when snow and/or ice is forecast to develop in the affected area but accumulations are expected to be light. Any snow or ice would result in slippery condition on untreated roadways and sidewalks. When temperatures are below freezing, motorists need to be especially careful on bridges and overpasses when slippery spots can easily develop.
Snow is expected to develop in the late morning, according to the NWS, and may be briefly heavy at times in the afternoon and evening.

Gusty winds up to 35 mph combined with snow may result in blowing snow and poor visibility at times.
The snow will begin to taper off at midnight.

The warning is in effect until 7 a.m. Sunday.
On the forecast front, Milton could get some flurries or a few inches. The NWS’ latest forecast has Milton receiving 3-4 inches while WCVB and WFXT are forecasting 2-5 inches and 3-6 inches.
